Happy Thursday Families. We enjoyed a fast, two day week. During Second Steps, The Dragonflies learned that people can have very different feelings about the same thing and that it is perfectly okay for each of us to have different opinions and feelings. We identified whether or not we felt the same or different from others in response to various situations. The Dragonflies practiced writing their names on white boards, made our our own ears of corn with construction paper, paint, and legos, and planted popcorn kernels in soil. We will be monitoring the popcorn growth during the next several weeks. We read The Popcorn Book. On Thursday we celebrated Veteran's Day by making red white and blue decorations for the hallway and participating in a lively Veterans Day parade around our school including meeting a veteran via zoom.
