Hello Families! This week our theme was apples, and the letter of the week was F. This week we sponge painted apple trees, played an apple counting game, and painted paper plates to make apples. We read Apple Farmer Annie and The Biggest Apple Ever and learned a poem called "Counting Apples." During Second Steps, we practiced focusing our attention by playing a special group game and using our "attentoscopes." We learned that we have to use our eyes, ears, and brain to help focus our attention. During Music, Ms. Li taught us a song about peace titled "Peace Building" along with hand and body motions, and in Art, we painted over the line creations from last week. We will continue our apple unit next week. Have a great weekend!
