Good Afternoon Families! The Dragonflies enjoyed a wonderful week celebrating friendship and love, and our letter of the week was A. This week we sorted conversation hearts according to color, colored a special thank you for for our postal workers in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Day on the 17th, decorated bags for our valentines cards, cut out paper hearts and decorated them for our moms, played a heart numeral to quantity game, and played a matching game using various colored hearts. We read Peppa's Valentine and The Biggest Valentine Ever. During Music, we danced with scarves to a variety of artists, and in Art we read a story about the lunar new year titled Bringing in the New Year and made firework paintings to celebrate. Thank you to all of the moms, dads, and nannies who made our Friendship Party so special - we appreciate you!
