Hello Families! We have enjoyed another fun week of learning. Our letter of the week was I. During Second Steps, we learned to look at people's faces and bodies for clues to help us tell how they feel. We talked about feeling happy and sad and how it's okay to experience all emotions. This week The Dragonflies made a spider web using golf balls and paint, painted friendly ghosts at the easel, stamped pumpkin shaped sponges in paint to create a collage, and played a jack o lantern counting game. We read I'm Not Scared, The Runaway Pumpkin, and Five Little Pumpkins. During Music, we sang "Big Blue Monster Snack Attack," a fun ghost song, and "Pumpkin Stew," and in Art Ms. Tara introduced us to the artist, YaYoi Kusama and her use of dots and completed a dot paint project. The highlight of the week was our visit from the Creve Coeur Fire Department!
